Digital Dentistry CEREC

At Baka Clinic, we rely primarily on the latest technological solutions that provide many benefits to our patients.

One of them is an innovative intraoral computer scanner – called Cerec digital dentistry. Its task is to precisely acquire the dimensions of the mouth and dentition, which helps to create a three-dimensional image, using the CAD/CAM system. Thanks to Cerec’s technology, we fabricate prosthetic components on site at an express pace, significantly reducing treatment time and increasing patient comfort.

The waiting time for the finished item is at most several minutes..

Earlier methods of obtaining the pattern of teeth for veneers, dentures, implants, crowns or bridges relied primarily on making impression compound. For patients, in most cases, this was not a very pleasant activity – which is not at all surprising. Currently, Cerec technology offers many more benefits than traditional ways, and provides a much more accurate simulation of the mouth and dentition. Most importantly, it does not cause any unpleasant experiences or side effects.

Digital dentistry has won the hearts of patients from Swinoujscie and beyond – all thanks to the fact that intraoral scanners are extremely fast. After obtaining an image of the dentition, all the dentist needs to do is properly design, for example, a crown of a tooth and send its form to the laboratory. The waiting time for the finished piece is no more than a dozen minutes. CAD/CAM technology is responsible for mapping even the slightest curvature of the teeth to perfectly match the prosthetic work.

In this way, the risk of any error is minimized, and the patient can enjoy his new smile without worrying about its durability and strength!
